Modern Glass Residence H House by Wiel Arets Architects
This modern house architecture with glass-dominated facade was designed by Wiel Arets Architects and is called H House. This modern glass residence was built on a plain residential area site in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The most eye-catching part of this house is of course its glass exterior which transforms it into a mirror for the surrounding natural landscape. The structure is supported by a few columns especially positioned in order to ensure stability. The interiors are wide and spacious dominated by the natural color of concrete with several splash of white. The floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to flood all throughout the house. Not only serves as window, the glass also seems to substitute for the wall. This modern glass house was designed for a couple of a dancer and an actor.
